MyKanti

Built for Nigerian shops

Know exactly how your shop is doing every day.

MyKanti is a simple record book for your business. At the end of the day you enter what you sold and what you spent — about two minutes. MyKanti turns that into clear answers: who owes you, what is finishing, and whether you are actually making money.

The MyKanti today screen: Ade Stores has not closed today's book yet, with ₦31,900 taken so far from 9 logged sales, ₦8,400 given on credit, and a list of things needing attention.

Fridays bring in twice what Mondays do. Stock up on Thursday evening.

How it works

Three habits. That’s the whole thing.

You do not need to record every single sale. Most owners close the book once, in the evening, when the shop is quiet. If you want every sale recorded, MyKanti can do that too — you choose.

Close the book at night, or at the end of the day

Two numbers: what came in, what went out. Add a note if you spent on transport or repairs. Two minutes and you are done — we take care of the rest.

Write down credit as it happens

When someone takes goods and says they will pay later, put their name and amount in. MyKanti remembers and reminds them for you.

Read what the week is telling you

Every Sunday you get a plain summary — no charts you cannot read. Just sentences about what sold, what is finishing, and what you kept.

Credit book

The money people owe you, in one list.

Bashi. Gbèsè. Ụgwọ. Every shop carries it, and most of it is lost because nobody remembers the small ones. MyKanti keeps the list, adds up the total, and sends a polite reminder over SMS or WhatsApp so you do not have to be the one asking.

  • See your total credit out at a glance, and how old each debt is
  • Reminders go out automatically on the day you choose
  • Part payments recorded properly, so nobody argues about the balance

Reports

If a report needs explaining, it has failed.

Most business software gives you graphs and leaves you to guess. MyKanti reads your own records and tells you what changed, what it means, and what to do about it. Deeper numbers are there if you want them — tap any sentence to see the workings.

Straight answers

The worries we hear most.

If you are the son, daughter or agent helping a shop owner decide, these are the questions they will ask you.

“Will government see my records?”

No. Your records belong to you. We do not share your data with tax authorities or anyone else, and we never sell it. If you ever want to leave, you can export everything and we delete your account on request.

“I don’t have time to type every sale.”

Then don’t. MyKanti was built the other way round: one entry at closing time. Recording every sale is an option for those who want it, not the price of entry.

“My phone is not big, and data is expensive.”

The app is light and works offline — closing a day uses less data than one photo on WhatsApp. Records saved without network sync themselves later.

“What if I lose my phone?”

Your book is safe. Sign in on any phone or on mykanti.com and everything is there. That is the main reason owners move off paper — paper burns, gets wet, and goes missing.

“My attendant will see everything.”

Staff logins are limited. They can add sales and credit but cannot see profit, delete records or change prices. You see who entered what, and when.

“I am not good with phones.”

Then let someone set it up once — a child, an attendant, or one of our agents. After that the daily job is two numbers and one button. We also answer questions on WhatsApp in plain language.
