About us
Kanti means shop. That is the whole idea.
Nigeria runs on millions of small shops. They employ our neighbours, extend credit when salaries are late, and keep whole streets fed. Almost none of them have the tools to know whether they are actually growing.
We are not building a till. We are building the shop owner’s own understanding of their business.
What we believe, and what it costs us
Records belong to the owner
We will not sell shop data, and we will not hand it to third parties without the owner’s specific consent. That closes some revenue doors. We are fine with that.
Two minutes, or it fails
If a feature adds a minute to the evening routine, it has to earn that minute. We have removed more features than we have shipped.
Plain language, always
No “revenue”, no “gross margin”, no dashboards nobody asked for. Money in, money out, what you kept, who owes you.
Meet shops where they are
Bad network, small phones, shared devices, low trust in technology. These are the design constraints, not excuses.
Where we are
A small team split between Lagos, Kano and Enugu, working with a growing network of field agents. We spend most of our week in shops, not in an office.
