Shops trust people, not adverts.
No shop owner in Mushin is going to install accounting software because of a billboard. They will do it because someone they know sat with them for ten minutes. That someone can be you.
You are already in it
There is nothing to apply for and nobody to be approved by. If you use MyKanti, you can bring a shop in — and the first one you help is worth the same as the hundredth somebody else helped.
A free month, not a commission
For every shop you bring that sticks, a free month of the plan you are already on — Kanti or Kanti+ — added to it. No bank details to hand over, no invoice to raise and nothing to chase at the end of the month.
Thirty books, ninety days
That is the line the shop you brought has to cross. They need not be consecutive, and a day the shop never opened is not counted against it — 30 books in the first 90 days is simply a shop that has started using MyKanti rather than trying it.
Cooperative, association or lender bringing twenty shops or more? That is a different arrangement with group pricing and its own terms — write to partners@mykanti.com.
We reward the shop that is still closing its book in month two.
Nearly everyone pays on the signup, which is why so many people have been signed up for things they never used. We count 30 closed books in the first 90 days instead. It is a slower line and a harder one, and it points you at the only outcome that is worth anything to the shop you helped.
Thirty books, inside the first 90 days
Not a signup, and not a fortnight of enthusiasm. The shop you helped has to close 30 books within 90 days of joining. They do not have to run back to back, and the days the shop stayed shut are not held against it — what is being asked for is the habit, not a streak.
One month, once, for each shop
A single free month of the plan you are on, per shop that crosses that line — so it is worth more on Kanti+ than on Kanti, because that is what you are already paying. It is one-off rather than a recurring share, and we would rather say so here than have you work it out in month two.
Straight onto your own plan
It arrives as time added to the subscription you already have, the way every loyalty reward in MyKanti does — not as a transfer. If you are still on Ledger there is nothing to extend, so it starts a month of Kanti for you instead.
How it works
You need a phone, a shop you already know, and one evening. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy — the only thing that decides whether this works is whether you go back.
Step 1
Nothing to apply for
You have an account, so you are in. No form, no NIN, no agreement to sign and nobody to wait on.
Step 2
Sit with them for ten minutes
Not a pitch — their shop, their numbers. Most owners decide in the first few minutes, and what decides them is watching somebody they already know do it on their own phone.
Step 3
Close a book together
That same evening, with their real takings and their real spending. The first closed book is the one that proves the two minutes are real, and it is the single thing that most decides whether they are still here in a month.
Step 4
Come back inside the week
Close a second one with them. That visit is the whole difference between a signup and a shop — and a shop that reaches 30 books is nearly always one that closed its first three in the first week.
No application · Nothing to buy · One free month for each shop that closes 30 books in 90 days
Four things that make a shop stay
Setting a shop up takes about six minutes. Keeping it takes the four below, and they all happen on the first evening, before you leave. The people who do this well are not the ones who reach the most shops — they are the ones who do these four every time.
Set the closing reminder for the hour they actually close
Not the hour the default suggests — the hour the shutters come down. A nudge that arrives while the shop is still busy is a nudge that gets ignored, and after two of those it gets turned off.
Close a book together, that same evening
Not a demo — their real takings, their real spending. The first closed book is the one that proves the two minutes are real.
Put in what people already owe them
The credit list is the reason to open the app tomorrow morning. A shop with an empty credit list has no appointment with MyKanti until closing time.
Show them Sunday’s message before you go
Say what will arrive at the end of the week and what it will tell them. A shop expecting something on Sunday closes its book on Saturday.
The order they go in is the same as the first-evening guide — work through that with the owner and you have done all four.
Questions people ask us
Do I have to apply?
No. This is the part people do not believe at first: there is no application, no approval and no agreement. You already have an account, and that is the whole of it. If somebody tells you there is a form to fill or a fee to pay to become a MyKanti partner, they are not with us — tell us.
What exactly do I get?
A free month of the plan you are on, for each shop you bring that closes 30 books within 90 days of joining. On Kanti that is a month of Kanti; on Kanti+, a month of Kanti+. If you are still on Ledger there is nothing to extend, so it starts a month of Kanti for you instead.
Why 30 books, and why 90 days?
Thirty closed books is about six weeks of ordinary trading, and 90 days leaves room to get there without it becoming a sprint. They deliberately do not have to be consecutive: a shop that shuts on Sundays, or for a funeral, or because the market did not hold, has done nothing wrong. Days the shop never opened simply do not count — neither towards the 30 nor against them.
What if the shop stops before it gets there?
Then that shop does not qualify, and nothing else changes for you. This is the honest part: we are not paying for names on a list, so an afternoon spent signing shops that will not stay is an afternoon that earns nothing. Two good visits beat five quick ones.
How many shops can I bring?
As many as you can genuinely help. The reward is one month per shop that qualifies, each one counted on its own — so ten shops that reach 30 books are ten free months, and ten that do not are none.
Is it a share of what they pay, every month?
No, and this is the thing to be clear about before you start. It is one month, once, per shop — not a recurring cut of their subscription. A scheme that paid a share forever would pay best to whoever signed the most names, which is the behaviour we are deliberately not buying.
Can I do this as a job?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. This rewards helping the shops you already know, on the street you are already on. It is not income, nobody is getting rich on it, and a scheme that paid enough to be a job would mostly attract people signing shops that never open the app again.
Can I sell MyKanti under my own name?
Not without a written agreement. Reselling, white-labelling or bundling MyKanti into your own product is a different arrangement from this — a real one, but one we have to paper properly. Write to partners@mykanti.com and we will tell you straight whether it fits.
